Invisible Man?

So I have a bit of a problem I need fixed.

Yesterday when I logged in to my normal server, instead of having my normal hero skin, I'm wearing something else. In first person, it looks like some sort of soldier clothing or pilot (not familiar with specific Arma skins) and in third person there is no model at all, I'm invisible. Along with that, the group commands appear now during normal gameplay (i.e. '5 (Ethan) "8, FALL BACK!"' etc.)

I assume it was just a hacker messing with me because while I was looking around confused I was teleported from my camp to Zub. I bailed out after that and went to a number of different servers, had the hero skin, was visible, no problem (except still at Zub). Go back to my normal server again, still have the invisible skin.

I will mention that I have never used scripts in dayz or the editor, nor do I really know how. I have never used hacked in items and weapons, and only have held them momentarily in order to bury them in a zombie or what have you. I do not use custom skins or additional mods with Arma. Before the incident, I had logged into this particular server with no problems, and in between those logs the beta patch the server was running had not changed nor had I changed mine.

Is anyone familiar with this and know of any fixes? I would hope just putting on a camo or gillie and taking it off again would put me back at hero, but knowing dayz I'd like a little more info going into it.

Found Camo clothing, going to go dump my gear in the tent and see what happens when I put it on.

invisibility can be the result of being teleported, try walking around for 5 minutes or even better getting in and then out of a vehicle or ladder. Also try reloading weapons or switching weapons... this usually makes it go away. Funny part is that you can end up invis ONLY to yourself, or even have other players be invisible to you... I played with a bunch of these programs when I started admin'ing to get a grip on how some of them work. wasted two keys doing it but KIND OF have an idea now...

Would be great if DayZ and BE didn't suck so hard... it's literally like the game is set up FOR hackers not admins.... Hackers can spawn thunderdomes and vehicles and weapons and teleport, but I as an admin have almost ZERO power to rectify the attack or even identify who the hacker was with out using work around's.

I love this game so much (I don't even care about the standalone, I'm TOTALLY happy with the mod) but admin'ing a server REALLY sucks the fun out of it... Hackers blow too but frankly I only care about them on my server since I got so frustrated I don't even play on other servers, not worth the risk of getting hacked... shit I barely play my own server when it's busy for the same fear...

Love how DayZ fears admin abuse so much that they empower hackers.... guess what guess... corrupt admins with fixed IP address' for their servers are a LOT easier to get and keep banned than key thieving hackers... Admins should get more power than users... it's rediculous...

Oh and no observer/spectator mode even for admins??? WTF. put in a 20 minute timer so you can't log in as a player after spectating, SOMETHING...

BE demands evidence for bans but gives you ZERO tools to collect that evidence... I half think they'd ban an admin that sent them a Fraps vid of them teleporting to observe a hacker's actions 1st person.

Actually tried those things when it first happened, or later when I ran from Elektro to Cherno.

I did manage to dump my stuff in a tent and try to put on the camo clothing, and I'm glad I did. The result was going to the middle of the ocean and staying there. I relogged and ended up back on the beach of Cherno, still invisible. I'll try killing myself and see if that gets rid of the skin.

No go on the suicide, still respawned with invisible skin. I did noticed zeds could see me, dunno about other players. I even respawned as a female and I still came in as invisible man, server hopped, hero male. I'll try putting on camo/gillie on a server I know works, then hop over and see what happpens, but beyond that I don't have a clue what to do.
