What does Community Ban List mean?

It's a shared banlist that many servers use. Admins could submit bans to it with evidence of cheating (logs) and that player would be banned on all servers using it. it hasn't been updated in months though and is no longer maintained.

some of us actively use it. It has helped me prevent some hackers that showed up on another server, show up on mine. The filters are very useful as well.
