Dayz Serial Key Problem

So me and my mate play Dayz on our seperate computers and it works fine but the other day i logged into steam on his computer and played dayz, i played as my character and had all my equipment and was were i was when i last logged off. However when he logged back onto his steam account and played DayZ he loaded in as my character. Now we both cant play on the same server or one of us is always kicked from the game.

How to fix this?

Run OA as admin to update your key in the registry to that copy.

Sounds like he didn't log out of your account after all and is playing your games, change your password and he will have no choice but to use his own account (this isn't a serial key problem), just because he's a friend doesn't mean he isn't shady... try it, I reckon that's what's happening, other than that I can't see what else can be done.

yeah he logged out of my steam account and into his own

and i changed my password so he wouldnt automatically log back into mine or anything
