L85A2 removed?

I was just looking at what the newest patch consisted of and it says the L85 is removed, kind of glad I swapped it for the M4 SD but sad because it was my favourite rifle :( anyway did they remove it because the NV/Thermal scope made it OP? If so does anybody know if they are planning on putting the L85A2 in with a different scope since there are plenty of scopes for that gun in Arma, I would preferably like the Acog scope for it.

Its just removed from the spawn tables. You still might be able to find one around

The reason behind it was the Thermal i think. Too much of an advantage.

I actually dont mind these types of guns spawning very very rarely but the problem was the duping.

The L85 was great fun to use. But I ageree on removing it because of the thermal scope.

Yeah, it was a bit overpowered, but I think thermal should be reintroduced, maybe as a binocular rather than mounted on a gun (just to give players some chance against snipers).
