Suggestion for buildings in the SA.

Make nuclear plants highly radioactive and with rare treasures so that you'll need a gas mask or radiation suits to enter and fill them with lots of zombies. Wouldn't that be cool?

Uhh, it sounds good.. but against the survival theme of the game. You should expand on your suggestion, I don't really know what you're getting at.

Things like this would actually be cool (unlikely in the stand alone but cool)

Giving the objective if the player wants to do it.. first find the gas mask, then enter the plant.. or just never enter it and wait outside and kill the people who do.. You never know what people are like ;)

But the idea is good :) i approve.

A gas mask would have as much use in stopping radiation that a Mr Jingles clown suit would have in stopping an AS-50 shot.

Underground areas filled with gas 'might' work but as has been said if you found something in a highly radioactive area it too would be radioactive and eventually turn you into a Super Mutant.

-Add real life size water towers with their control/pumping rooms as potential last stand places for past survivors, loot scatter accordingly.

-Add Stadiums or sports arenas. Potential for large amount of loot, but in a Zapocalyptic scenario, it most likely is filled with detainees turned to zombies, so the risk is high too. Potential fortresses if cleared out and a large group of players work together to make it work.

-Add Borderpatrol stations, every sovereign nation has them, even the soviet block had them between the varsov treaty countries, but they were called "border check points" and you could find those in the wilderness along some fence line with no roads what so ever, just a trampled path to give away it has seen some traffic by foot.

-Cultivate the possibility of being able to enter any residential building by some means, someone has already suggest a good use of crowbar for this, and i would like to see a possibility of shooting a lock off with a shredder or a slug.

-Add underground ammo and weapon stockpiles, any country that made any military installations after WW2, without an exception has those, even luxemburg and malta has them, so does finland.

-Add bombshelters, not familiar with foreign standards but finnish bombshelters are equipped with ABC filters with crank operated AC machines, 2-3 weeks worth of drinking water and rations minimum, heatpacks and other means of generating heat, most bombshelters out do those requirements by a factor of 3.

-Add The EER simulation into the game(emergency energy reserve, gas generators and such) unless the zombie apocalypse was so fast that people dint have time to switch on them, but if they did, you could salvage jerry cans and gas, fill a gas or diesel genny on side say a police station, and get potential surveillance feed from a control room, making it a potential defensible position.

-Add mass transit stations into the game, large buss terminals or train main train station(s)

-Ula/short wave radios found in random residential areas, stop to chat with other random survivors who might have found another radio elsewhere :)

-Add Fallout shelters(different from bombshelters, they are usually above ground and made of thicker walls, usually 2-3 stories high) For a potential other place for lots of medical gear and propably backbags and tents etc. water bottles, community shelter gear.
