Getting the Alienware X51 (i5 with GTX 660 one), what kind of performance can I expect to see in this game

Recommended Posts

Performance wise, i'd think it will do fine.

But sure hope to god you've lubed up well cause you're about to get shafted by Dell................

Concur with post #2 and #3, absolute waste of money.

I bought the Asus G75VW for $1399.99 at Fry's. The 670M still doesn't run the game quite as good as my GTX 680... you'll need to turn down some of the features to get it to run smoothly...

650 dollar HP Pavilion HPE tower, 100 dollar monitor... upgraded RAM, power supply (700W) and Video card to a 7850 Radeon 2G for under 300. 1050 dollars later (complete computer) runs Arma 2 DayZ lowest frames hit on Cherno is 38 FPS...

Runs all other current crap at 60 strong, (hitman, far cry3) ... I'll never buy a "name brand gaming" computer ever again in my life.

I've got the same computer, I think with an even worse graphics card. I run at High, so I think you could do better than me. Even if I did waste money, it runs the games I play at a acceptable graphics level.

How much did you pay for it? Would be interesting to see and then compare that price with what its "really" worth. See just how much the Alienware name costs.

Yeah, build it if necessary... if you don't know how, you're better off buying a PC from Dell, HP, etc. Good stuff man. Maybe he's looking for portability.
