[BANNED] What have I done now?

Heyo,

Wondering something; I was banned a month ago, following a dispute with a server owner. I eventually was unbanned after proving I had NOT hacked, (gotta love fraps). Anyway, I launch ARMA 2 OA from steam after not playing Day Z since, hoping to play, only to find I seem to be banned. I've just moved house and everything seems frantic. I was really hoping to play some "relaxing" Day Z, but no luck. Any help?

I don't see how your server ban would stop you playing on other servers.

No, I can't join ANYTHING. I'm considering having to buy the game again, but that's 20$ out of pocket.

If it's a global ban chances are slim that BattlEye will unban you, at least before the standalone release (Do not ask about when it's being released). I say wait for standalone or buy ArmA II: OA again.

Edit: It's possible your GUID has been stolen and replaced with a banned one, so make sure you haven't downloaded anything that could be classified as suspicious... especially addons to DayZ like hacks. If this is the case you will need to buy ArmA all over again and be more careful.

Yes, it says global ban. The reason I quit Day Z for so long was because of the hackers, and if I was you guys, I'd have no reason to believe me. However, if you can help me, I'll be eternally grateful. Looking now, is the Bohemia store cheapest place to buy the game again?
