Am i Lucky or unlucky?

spawned into my first ever server, ready to survive in chenarus, and this is how my first life went for a few minutes:

stumbled upon electro, and went straight for a church,

found a ghilie suit first thing, an alice pack, and some essential tools (a bit of food/drink)

made my way around the city and found most of the tools i needed (just missing compass, matches and hatchet)

got cornered by zed in a building and eaten alive :D

god i love DayZ! the only game where you can go from going well to dead inside of a minute with no warning :D

I'd say you're quite lucky.. considering a gillie suit spawn is a 0.28% chance.

I managed to get my hands on the wrecked chopper again, next time you fly with me i will make sure not to fly trough electricity wire :)

I love the lives where you spawn and instantly find everything you want on a corpse or otherwise, only to have it taken away from you not 30 seconds later.

Your definitely lucky. Being killed by zeds aint unlucky unless its a direct result of one of the numerous hilarious bugs. Could you not run back to your body and get your stuff back?

That's exactly how my games go... whenever I feel like I have everything I would need to survive on my own (hatchet, matches, hunting knife, any kind of gun and a map and/or compass) I fall prey to one of the countless buggy bags of silly. Wall-hacking Zeds that not only attack through walls but also instantly break your leg and inflict a deluxe bleeding, or a fine drop from a ladder that results in quite the same, or some sweet clipping that makes you drop through the tower windows of the fire station. YAY...

Still it's funny that eventhough I often hatehatehate (and HATE!) DayZ, I still also really love to play it. Yin and Yang, I guess :)
