I'm also really laggy, i'm thinking of upgrading my computer or buying a new one.

My computer is a dell inspiron 580

RAM: 4GB Dual Channel DDR3 [4x1024] Memory

graphics card:

NVIDIA GeForce G310 512MB

processor: Intel Core i3 Processor 550 (3.20GHz)

If I upgrade how good do these things need to be?

If you know about computers and you think i should just get a new one just tell me.

PM me, I'll help you find a good rig.

Not very good. It's still better than most of the others in this thread. If you ever wanna upgrade, give me a PM.

It's okay. The CPU is good but the graphics card isn't very good.

How much would that cost? Have you considered buying the parts seperately and putting it together yourself? You'd get a much better machine for the same amount of money that way. :)

What this wise man said, 640GT is not made for gaming. Aim for a GTX instead. I had a 640 and it ran terribly I returned it to the vendor and bought a 660 GTX instead. Now I just need a i7 cpu. But yeah go for a 660/660ti if you want a cheap high end graphic card. And try and build your pc yourself instead, it's frustrating the first time but it's worth it once you're done. It's cheaper than to buy a pre-build.
