How to Download Cielle and Taviana Maps

I'm something of a technical noob who has recently managed to install DayZ and play just fine on the Chernarus map but whenever I try to play on servers hosting Cielle or Taviana it tells me I cannot edit the mission and it is dependant on deleted content or something.

Sorry if it's been posted somewhere but I couldn't see any guides that were stickied and as such I am wondering how to download and play these maps, and also whether they are actually safe to play.

Any help would be useful, thanks.

Should also add that I installed the game manually through steam, I don't particularly have any intention of using DayZ Commander or Six Launcher unless it's absolutely necessary.

Why not using the DayZ Commander? Is it to easy for you?

i used arma2 like you, but then i've seen dayzcommander and i fell in love...it's simply fantastic

SpiritedMachine's ArmAII launcher will do the job very well.

You will have to find the correct version of the different Islands.

If however you whish to keep a clean and managable ArmAII/CO, this is the way to do it.
