PieCakeLord 0 Posted December 4, 2012 When i check my Aema 2 AO folder or in my addons every files has been copied twice. It turns to a 1km large file. I have deleted all of them but yet everytime i launch up my game i always get some additional key error. Its says That i need to remove this or add this, Also it tells we where the file is that i need to install. Ex: /Games/Steam/Steamapps/Common/Arma2 Operation Arrowhead/Addons (pbo Example).2. It tell me the location to delete that file or something but everytime i do it repeats. It changes the file and everytime i delete it they ask for another one it constatly repeats. So i try to reinstall my game did it 3 times yet all my folders keep being copyed and i have to delete them. Ive been trying to youtube my problem but none have had it or i didnt make it more specific.I did (Integroty game cache) multiple times run it as admistrator but i cant fix it. Please i need help i want to play with my mates but my DayZ just wont let me. If you want me to classify the problem much more email or repost im trying to reinstall my Arma 2 AO atm. For a last go. rooneye 135 Posted December 4, 2012 (edited) Have you checked your launch parameters? What are you using to launch DayZ? DayZ Commander? Play with Six or what? And what exactly does it say, can you take a screenshot of the error and also your Arma 2 folder would be helpful to try and figure out the problem. =DiG= Zgraphz 84 Posted December 5, 2012 if you installed the game through retail... reinstall it completely and removed everything arma 2 related... if it is bought via steam then right click arma 2 , arma 2 OA, arma 2 BAF and arma 2 PM, select all 4 in order, then go to properties, go to local file, then verify game cache and do that to all 4 games in this order arma2,arma2 OA,Arma2BAF,Arma2PrivateMilitary. and you system files should be ok.
