BearGravy 53 Posted December 4, 2012 What if you want to leave somewhere but you can't because there are people coming to the area you are in, or you need something to bargain with? Being able to take another human with a gun pointed to their head and using them to escape a bad situation or if you just want beans would be a great thing to add to the game. I was honestly just giving my opinion and it may have come across as a sly little remark, but in know way was it meant to be condescending.I myself came up with a suggestion not to far off the one you made just read mine below. I would love to be able to rob survivors and not have to KOS anybody you see.The ability to (Cable Tie/Duct Tape) someone you hold up at gun-point, then rob them in safety.(Leaving them bound ingame for 3 minutes, from when you first "Cable Tie/Duct Tape" them). TheDesigner 1197 Posted December 4, 2012 If you're a small group of 3 guys and one of your friends gets taken by some random bandit and held hostage via your idea, if I'm just playing for the night (like most people do) I'm not just going to shoot my friend and the other guy. Yukimare 10 Posted December 5, 2012 take people hostage by tieing them down or using them as a meat shieldbe a tad interesting, as not only will it make it easier to disable a bandit (or rob a target) without firing a single shot, at least temperarly, it would also add the suspence of hostage secuations to DayZ. i bet ya if 2 groups of survivors encountered (both of witch, dedicated players, with decent gear) and one suddenly took some of the other group hostage, there will be a huge conflictalso be a good way to make friends, free a random stranger from a bandit who isnt paying attention, and i bet ya the hostage will thank you... only prob. is.... what if zombies find you tied down.... then the hostage is screwed Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
