please help graphic are all messed up

when i play dayZ or arma2 or oa i have a people with the game there are these weird thinks that will shot out of zombies players,building,the player im playing as, trees and just about every thing im not sure if it with my gpu or what

please help new player,

This is called Artifacting, usually when graphics die things begin to artifact or something else. Consider the following:

- Too many barb wire in the cities?

- Your GPU can't handle the game?

- Your GPU is overheating?

and yes that is what is going on

first i did try to see if my gpu could not handle the game and it runs it fine (as in the fps is at like 40)

and my gpu was at like 58 degrees so i dont think it was overheating

Looks like a graphical issue. Have you updated to your latest video card drivers? Is your graphics card securely plugged in?

This is just the graphics bug isnt it? Artifacts some people call them. If so, dont worry I have 100% works every time fix :D

First press:

Shift and - on the numpad.

Nothing will happen, but type FLUSH (you wont get a text box or anything just type it blind).

Your game will then flush and screen will go black for a second.

This probably wont fix it, dont worry this is normal.

Now press Escape + Alt + Enter. (this bit can be fiddly sometimes you have to do it a couple of times, just keep trying till your game goes into windowed mode)

You game will go into windowed mode.

The escape menu will also come up, press continue.

Do the same thing again, press Escape + Alt + Enter.

Your game will now go back to full screen, again the escape menu will come up, press continue.

Your game will now be ok with no graphics bug :)

I used to get this all the time, havent had it for a while, but this fixed it 100% of the time.

Sometimes just doing the flush works, but most of the time it doesnt, you need to do the rest of it.

:( Well, I did think it looked slightly different to the graphics bug I was having, mine was all gray whereas your's is sort of the terrain its self. This is what mine looked like:

"are your drivers up to date?" if so, have you tried beta versions?

ok guys i fix it for the mean time i roll back the drivers( up to date is not all ways the best) and it runs even smother
