grouping perks/incentives

first off there needs to be a grouping system put into the game. i would love to be able to acually see who is all in my group. be able to watch thier blood and other matters. also make it so you need lets say 1000 humanity to join a group of humanity survivors

second put in some kind of perk/incentive for people to want to group up with others. right now the only reason to group with someone is to get a blood tranfusion. maybe add some other things that can't be done without being in a group......like mending broken bones. maybe add in achievments that can only be done by being in a group of survivors

perk/incentives could be.......

while grouped your blood pool is increased (larger the group the bigger the blood pool)(would help against bandits)

extra bag slots(1 extra slot per member of group)(up to 10 members)

slight run speed increase

special skins from grouping

as this game stands now it has become Black Ops on roids. all people want to do is kill other players like its one of those games that do nothing but death matches. people are afraid to even get near someone cause you simply can not trust them. don't get me wrong i like that part of the game, but it gets out of hand at times. i believe if things like i have stated were put into the game people would be more willing to join groups.

Bandits group with other bandits but instead of the positive perks/incentives they would get a reverse effect. blood pool decreased, 1 less bag slot per member of group, no skins, decreased running speed......(reason for the negative effects is bandits really should be SOLO) if a bandit wants to change thier ways and join a humanity group they would have to raise thier humanity to do so.

just a few things that were on my mind and i would like to see put into the game

This is stupid, what would be the point in this game if you got penalties for killing players? You would basically be playing a reeeeeaaaallllyyyy bad zombie game!! Infected in dayz are laughable! Players are the only real threat and that is what makes the game interesting!

Hello there

whilst this post is definitely not "stupid" there are some flaws to it IMHO.

Grouping up already gives you "perks" as you have another set of eyes/weapons at your disposal.

Bandits have the "disability" that they cannot really trust each other. (if they're truly bandits, if not then they're just another group of survivors no matter what they call themselves.)

Also, there should be no negative aspect to soloing. Too many games pseudopunish for solo play already.

There does not need to be any changes to reward or punish either playstyle. Encouraging and discouraging them is a different story, as long as it's up to the survivors to do it. This is a game about survival at its rawest. There should be as little mechanical alteration as possible.

That's why the added the bandit and hero skin. It's up to the survivor to decide if this skin makes the player more or less trustworthy.

these are just sujestions that were running in my head while trying to go to sleep last night. i believe there does need to be a easier way to get grouped up with other players that match your play style. most players rather not group up with anyone. all those players want to do is play this game as if it was Black Ops or CoD. witch is fine that part of the game is why i play. running around in fear of every player that logs on is great but not so great.

how about atleast a grouping system that groups you with players with the same play style as you. not this trying to find a group on the forums crap. cause even then i bet people have been recruited to only get killed soon as they meet up with the group. i have seen people ask for blood tranfusion and they are all chatting and being nice then bam one kills the other.

some type of grouping system should be put in. so i and others can play with people with the same play style. it would be great and not change the game in any way.

Like I said, as little mechanical alteration as possible is what this game is about. It gives you the settings, the know-how, and lets you get on with it. If you want something done, you gotta do it yourself.

And how would a grouping system change that? It's not going to stop a "friendly" from shooting you, and it shouldn't. Uncertainty is a main part of the game.

Not only no but HELL NO. If Joe teammate is down you should only know this if you saw him get hit or he was able to scream out "IM HIT" In fact I would like to see a players mic/in game chat be cut off if he looses consciousness or blood get to a certain low level.

Why should a group magically gain extra powers? Being in a group IS power. The better co-ordinated and skilled the group is the stronger it is.

And then you want to nerf bandits? SERIOUSLY?

Please my friend don't propose the above and then say

I do not get you wrong, I am CERTAIN you do NOT like "that part of the game"

Lets wait and see what SA brings. I think we will see a bit more balance... maybe.

shadow jack why are you getting so bent out of shape over SUJESTIONS?

and FACT you are wrong i love the fear of other players part. i just would like to be able to join up with other player with my same play style. thats all

but what i am going to guess is you are a bandit and just upset about me saying to nerf them.

i may never have said that is it was not for the HACKERS giving every bandit in the game a bad name. yes the majority of bandits in this game are hackers.

How about instead, when you group with 4 or more you can make an orgy, depending on genders of the party, or have a frat party in a residence, or or.... no.
