Hi guys, i have seen a lot of guys playing Dayz pretty well on macbook but i can't... i don't know why... It's lagging as fuck i tried every settings (low, high, vsync off...), i tried to tweak with the nvidia panel and the .ini files but it still laging, i tried to load the files from a RamDisk, still laging. I put the game on high priority, still laging, the battery priority set on High performance.... I'm saaaaaaaaaaad.

my config is : MACBOOK WHITE UNIBODY 2010

Intel Core 2 Duo CPU P8000 2.40 ghz

4GO RAM

Geforce 320m

Bootcamp windows 8

I know it's poor and used a mac to play is a bad idea but i need it for works. (i'm an intern so don't tell me to buy a new computer hahaha ...)

Anyway, I realy need your help... i tried warz because it ask less config but god, it sux too hard.... I want to play dayz.. Please give me all tips you know to improve a little bit my performances.

Your problem is you have a macbook. Any game for me lags like hell, i have a very fast mac too. Thats why I don't use it for gaming. I tried to run Bootcamp with GTA IV, and DayZ and it never worked. A lot of people will get tons of issues doing that, ArmA 2 engine is a heavy fps user. Now on your part I do not know if you can fix it, I tried too, but I just bought a '17 inch pc for gaming. That is probably your best bet if you're serious about gaming.

Hmm i see... I asked because i have seen some macbook users playing dayz pretty well on youtube. That's why i posted here. Rocket said that the performance of the standalone will be increase. Do you think my config gonna be enough to run it ?

EDIT : the weird thing is that when i do alt + tab for few secondes, to watch twitter or else and then i come back on the game it don't lag for 1 or 2 minutes and i don't know why ...
