Rage VG 4033 Posted December 3, 2012 Verify the integrity of the game's cache via steam, let me know the results.
Wightlion 28 Posted December 3, 2012 (edited) Hi Rage,I take it you meant the O Arrowhead beta part of the gameIt states"11 files failed to validate and will be reaquired "However I also did this to OA and found similar result but only 1 file failed. Rage VG 4033 Posted December 3, 2012 Just make sure you do it to ARMA II and ARMA II: Operation Arrowhead, and try connecting again.
Wightlion 28 Posted December 3, 2012 No joy I am afraid, Rage, same thing occuring although the OA Beta file are no longer showing any unvalidated filesNow I just have 1 failed to validate files on both Arma II and Arma II OARowley,I dont think my Managers are going to fix my problems LOLOL
Rage VG 4033 Posted December 3, 2012 That "Managers" post was an adbot. Disregard it.Okay, so we might have found the root of the issue. This might suck, but I'm going to ask you to reinstall both ARMA II and OA. If there's a broken file, this may fix it.
Wightlion 28 Posted December 4, 2012 Sadly after reinstalling both games etc the effect is very much the same
Rage VG 4033 Posted December 4, 2012 Then the only conclusion I can come up with is an anti-virus software mistaking the one file as malicious and deleting it every time we create it.
