xqnp7 0 Posted June 17, 2012 ProTip: Don't use the horrible Six Launcher, just use Six Updater itself to download the mod. Use a different launcher, like this one: http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=8241Six Updater is one of the clunkiest and quite honestly "bad" programs I've ever had to use, but the Updater works decently for downloading DayZ once you get past the first time. woofed 8 Posted June 17, 2012 I used the updater, its what screwed me over. Not touching anything by him ever again.
Colt45az 0 Posted June 17, 2012 I'm having the same issue... Anyway I can fix this without reinstalling?
srvrsyde 9 Posted June 17, 2012 i use the worrom mod updater, it seems to be the best imo. and the arma2oa server browser is fine.. why use anything third-party for that?
sickboy 60 Posted June 17, 2012 When the mod is updated by DayZ team, there is a delay in server updating, and things can be a bit shaky during updates, this should have nothing to do with SU. But surely there can be bugs in the software too.The Six Updater/Launcher thread is over at; http://dayzmod.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=5797Support box is at; http://www.six-updater.net/p/support.htmlPlease visit there if you'd like to help solve the issues. Jamskis 0 Posted June 17, 2012 I wouldn't call it exactly "bad" but it certainly has it's flaws. I guess we could say it's still taking "baby steps" and getting better little by little.Seems to be having a bit compatibility issues if you're unlucky like me and managed to buy the game from actual store instead of Steam. Seems to be causing a lot more "research and tinkering" to get DayZ working. :P
