Resolution problems? Read here before posting!

Nothing seems to work. I've tried editing the file with notepad, changing user interface resolution, changing graphics resolution, restarting, restarting after setting user interface resolution. followed all instructions and still nothing. Can't play the game currently. Seems the resolution won't change to 1920x1080 no matter what I try. It's always stuck on a certain resolution. Any further help would be appreciated.

    Build 1.5.8.2 Hotfix

Make sure the backpack you are trying to pickup is EMPTY. Only then you have TAKE BACKPACK option. Maybe that's the case. Hmm... I don't think so. After you drop the pack you can't even see it in the gear window. You no longer have the option to open pack or pick up the pack... You can see it on the ground but you no longer have any options. It acts as if there was no pack there in the first place. I haven't had trouble with packs previously. Can anyone else confirm there's an issue here

    Timing of Patch 1.5.8

Thanks Rocket!! This game is fantastic. I really enjoy it. I believe this is a very revolutionary game for the gaming industry, even in alpha. Thanks again for all you and your teams hard work. Can't wait to see what this game holds in the future. :)

    DayZ Update 1.5.7

I would like to see more and more zombies but have them be slower. They don't have to be walking zombies. Just slower and less jerky. When I think of a perfect zombie speed I think of Killing floor. I think it would be really awesome if each type of zombie had a different speed. For example: crawlers were slowest, monkeys were fastest, and walkers were fast walking speed. (Killing floor) I'd really like to hear Rocket's opinion on this.

    DayZ Update 1.5.7

I didn't really have much of a chance to play for too long after the update. I did play with a friend for about 30 minutes after the update and we did notice a much larger number of zombies. We never did aggro any zombies but we also never shot our guns. I've been reading everyone's opinions and it seems like there's a lot of mixed feelings about the increase in zombies. I think for the purpose of a 'zombie survival' game it's fantastic! I do like some of the ideas mentioned such as making the zombies a little slower and less jerky just so you don't feel like you have to keep running backwards and wait for them to stop to get a good shot when you aggro a group. Also, maybe making the respawn rate a little slower so you can clear a building. (Haven't experienced but hearing a lot of people clearing a building then going back downstairs to find another fleet of zombies.) Affect on PvP.. I think with the increased amount of zombies and aggro there will be much less PvP happening. Couple reasons: With more zombies people will have a higher chance of survival if they stick together. Aggro from gun fire would be the second. Overall I think this is a good improvement. My highest concern is the speed and jerkyness of the zombies. MORE IS BETTER.. Just think they shouldn't be so spaz.
