Mildots and the correct formula

Recommended Posts

I know this has been discussed to death before, but I need to ask it again.

What is the correct formula to calculate the distance of your opponents for AS50, M107 and M24? Thanks.

Target(s) height x 1000 / target(s) height in mildots.

A standing player is usually 1.8 meters. That would be 1.8 x 1000 = 1800. Then if a player is 3 mildots high in your scope, he would be 600m away. (1800 divided by 3)

Crouching player is roughly 0.9 meters high (900)

Prone player is about 0.3 - 0.4 meters.

Just look on youtube.

Can someone explain what are mildots?

I have played for months, and I still don't know what they are?
