Entering towns/loot area so fast nothing spawns

So I've recently been able to get mobile with a car.

One thing I've noted is that when driving to a place to loot.......if I park right next to say a supermarket, and walk in....nothing is there, no zombies/ no loot.

Now after some reading of forums/wiki's , I have read that you need to get out of the car, and things will spawn.

My question is what strategies do people have with these mechanics being what they are ?

Do you park the car and proceed on foot from a ways out to avoid agro'ing the zombies with the vehicle ?

Do you park and wait 5-10 minutes and then proceed on foot to give zombies chance to spreadh out ?

Thanks for any feedback/insight, I'm still working out what works best for me. (this is primarily a daylight server question as well).

In my opinion its also about which server you are playing on, for me there were few servers, when it was instantly spawning, on others it didnt spawn ever, but if I can recommend you something, then its ride to the town and wait for a minute...thats all i can tell you, there arent many tipes people can give you. Someone also told me you can try to logout and login again

While in a vehicle you do not spawn loot/zombies. It's not about going too fast, it's simply that you do not trigger it from inside the vehicle.

Zombies will spawn as soon as you exit the vehicle, loot will require you to go the loot-spawn radius of that loot area on foot.

I usually park up 200m away and crouch run to the loot site. Once you have triggered the loot spawn you can run back and get the car and leave it parked up outside. Of course only do this if you wanna clear out the supermarket or barracks and you're sure there's nobody about who's gonna jack your ride (or unless your on an empty server)

Typically, I park outside of towns and walk in. Not just because I want the loot to spawn, but also so I can approach with caution. If i'm just saying screw it, and throw caution to the wind, I'll park about 50-100m away. Usually everything spawns then.

approaching on foot from about 50 metres seems to do the trick usually.
