I can not believe I only found out about this game/mod last night. Have watched a ton of youtube videos already. Downloading Arma2:CO as we speak and should to be on within a couple hours. I would play public first to get an image of the game and have a saved character on public servers (nobody remembers his first server he was on) so he can continue joining another private server.

After some time i would change to private :) Then you can focus on one server.

And remember: All private Hives have different saved characters!
