TeNnAnT 93 7 Posted November 28, 2012 Not sure if this has been said but im getting very annoyed at getting my leg broke when im 200miles away from a hospital (my fault for not carrying morphine) but shouldn't there be a temp fix? I was thinking along the lines of a splint. EG:..Chop wood then have an option to chop again to create stick. Then combine with a Bandage to create a kind of support so your able to "Limp/Walk" on your leg. Having to crawl demoralises me so much i think being able to walk could give some hope, and is better than rolling around on the floor waiting to die. This is more for loan wolf players as teams can help each other out if you can see where im coming from. All feedback welcome good or bad or better idea :) Thanks
#Sleepy 572 Posted November 28, 2012 Been said a hundred times before, but I don't believe there's any current plans. I splint would be hard to walk on still, you should be able to hop for a random amount of distance or time before tripping and falling. And/or you should heal slowly over time, so you could walk a little farther before falling, etc.
TeNnAnT 93 7 Posted November 28, 2012 As I said thought it would have been said before so my bad for that. But still think it is abit harsh how you just drop and cant walk... maybe the ability to use your weapon or and axe as a walking stick? Would be pretty cool. Bludy 324 Posted November 28, 2012 i've seen legs fixing vaulting doors..but yeah it's your fault not carrying morphine..if there would be alternatives, but the hospital isn't the most dangerous place on map(chernarus)..
032125 (DayZ) 91 Posted December 8, 2012 I can't find this in any previous comments, but what about SAM Splints? They're military issue (at least, they were when I was around) they weight almost nothing, and are about the size of a can of beans. They should be readily available in military bases, medical tents and FOBs.
