Better than that "other" game?

Considering jumping into the fray. Just a bit disappointed by another Zomb game I have recently tried.

Hopefully this will be a bit better than my previous choice of game.

Any advice before I give it a run?

You can trust some people imo if you behave right, just do it sceptical.

Remind: This will save you a lot of QQ

Even if you are lucky enough to avoid being shot, there is a debug area for everyone.

Also keep in mind: This game is still an alpha. There are lots of bugs and esp. the inventory-system of ARMA 2 is a pain in the ass, till you get used to it.

It has never been designed for the purposes of a realistic survival-game. So save time and energy and try to be patient with Rocket and his crew.

Read and/or watch any of the Inventory tutorials out there as it's very counter-intuitive.

Hello there

Have you played vanilla Arma/OA before. It's an odd transition from mainstream games to the RV engine.

If not, I recommend trying Arma2free to see if your brain and fingers can handle it. :) Also, it's a nice test for your PC.

Thanks, I briefly played Arma free, I just picked up Arma2 the other day via steam sale after a disappointing purchase of another game.

I will most likely run around in Arma 2 to get familiar with the controls and interface prior to getting the mod.

Hopefully it will be a short lesson so I can start slaying soon.
