DayZ arma 2 editor issue

Ok here is my issue. i use the arma 2 editor to make cinematic dayz videos. however, since the latest patch i have not been able to launch single player while the dayz mod is enabled. i have not been able to find another post with this issue.

i have uninstalled/reinstalled arma 2, steam, dayz and it still has not fixed the issue.

also tried installing a previous version of the mod in case that was the issue. did not work.

if u got the hdd space for it you could have 1 arma 2 install with an old dayz version (before sp/editor access was cut)

and a cool beans version for playing dayz

That's why you disable DayZ when you start the game.

unfortunately i have tried using older dayz versions and it still will not let me access single player while the mod is enabled.
