Error when attempting to start

I can't get this game to load. I have made sure that everything is up to date. I am running the Dayzcommander but everytime I load it error's out and crashes. I haven't even been able to get eaten or PK'd, wtf. Anyone have any idea if this is common and I've missed something?

You will have to give more details than that.

First thing to do is try and start the game normally (without DC or DayZ) and see if it works.

Also Steam/Retail/++++

A guy at my office who just installed it used the play six, I tried that and was in a server running from zombies....thanks for the reply:)
