BattlEye Restriction #45

Recommended Posts

First of all, hello fellow Survivors I'm new to these forums but certainly not to DayZ.

I think most of you know what this error is about, at first I got kicked every time I tried to put on camos and now I get kicked if I join almost any server.

I've googled this issue and is there really nothing I as client can do about it? Do I just have to wait for server admins to exchange this bad line of code?

Thanks in advance!

Hubbles

dear hubbles, try using the forum search function and if you do you will se that there is a 'workaround' for this issue. if you install an older version of the arma2 beta patch and then reinstall the latest you are free to join every server you like, until you die. after that you gotta do the proceeder all over again.

I believe so.

I reported this before the update went live and was told it was fixed soon after.

This is on an official DayZ build using the required Hive.

So in theory if the server is running the correct files, it should not be happening.

I have not tested this since (on the test server) 1.7.4.4 went live, so I cannot confirm.

Might help, might not.

Navigate to:

(x):\Users\(Username)\AppData\Local\ArmA 2 OA\BattlEye

Delete BEClient.dll before starting the game. It will be reinstalled upon joining a server. A lot faster than reinstalling or doing a rollback.
