Static Daytime on Official hive server ???

Recommended Posts

I think I read back in 1.7.3 patch notes that static time is allowed now and can be set in the HiveExt file

but it still says in there :-

[Time]

;Possible values: Local, Custom, Static

;You cannot use Static on OFFICIAL Hive, it will just revert to Local

Type = Static

;If using Custom type, offset from UTC in hours (can be negative as well)

;Offset = 0

;If using Static type (Hour value always the same on every server start), the value (0-24) to set the Hour to

Hour = 13

can anyone clear this up for me as i would love to have the option to have full daytime.

My server has been stuck on day cycle now for over a day. I keep trying to get defcon servers to help me and reset the server time back to GMT+5 but nothing helps. Everytime I restart server it goes back to 12:30pm and is broad daylight. It sort of sucks. I would love for this static crud to stop, maybe that will help me.. cause the server hosting at Defcon doesn't seem to get what the hell is going on.

Static time on public hive shouldnt be supported. There could be some bugs introduced in latest code, but we'll look at this and resolve if necessary.
