And that question is:

"If you were told that you may kill anyone and everyone you want with no immediate consequences, but that there may or may not be consequences for doing so in the future, would you do it?"

or, to put it another way:

"Is this going to be on the test?"

I think by now we've all answered that question for ourselves.
