How do I fix error "server rejected, bad version."

I have recently installed 1.7.4.4 and I'm trying to join an updated server that also has 1.7.4.4 but when I tried to join it said "server rejected, bad version."

Please help, this is my favorite server.

Sounds like your version does not match the server version. I think. Try rolling back your version and see if that fixes it.

It says I have version 1.6.2 but the server is running 1.6.2/987783 or something like that. Edited by ImLosara
