How to Run Dayz with steam version without steam

If you're reading this, then it is in hopes you can help me, recently my E-Mail got hacked, along with my Steam and a lot of other memberships I had, now I had just bought Arma II combined operation, and I had purchased a new computer, but just when I wanted to access Steam, it said my password was wrong, when I wanted to check my E-mail, it had been deleted. I still have my Steam account and all my previous games on my computer, but I can run them through steam, what do I do?

Make a .bat and put on folder Arma 2 OA:

start Expansion\beta\arma2oa.exe -beta=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion -mod=@dayz -nosplash

Go to Steam support and they will help you get your account back.

If you paid with Credit Card they could really help you, if you did not use a Credit Card they would want something else...

I can't get my account back when my E-Mail and back up E-Mail (that was a school E-Mail which got deleted when I graduated) both don't exist.

So your Steam account is corrupt/compromised ?

If you have installed a beta look in 86x/Steam/common/expansions/beta folder, if no beta then just the ArmAII/OA exe.

Sounds to me like you've been hacked and lost your account/game key.

You will have to contact Steam, nothing we can do here I'm afraid.

same happened to me; i couldn't get into my steam due to my email account being hacked so i couldn't access it,and i couldn't get the security code, so i made a steam support account, contacted them, followed instructions and got my account back. here is what will happen:

how to get your account back:

1. create a new email

2. create a new steam support account and link that account to that new email

3. contact steam support about your problem. in this case (and in my case) just say you can't get into your account because you can't get the security code because your email is hacked. state your account name you are trying to access, etc.

4. they will answer within the week (during business hours), and will most likely wan't proof that you own this account by telling you to send pictures of a game's CD key you bought, or if it was a virtual copy, some other method is used (i don't know which method; i didn't use that one, luckly i had a retail copy of DX:HR and i took pictures of the CD key on the manual)

5. a couple of days later they will send the security code to your email, and then you have your account back :D

EDIT: oh, your password is wrong? whoops, didn't read properly but no matter. follow these instructions, explain what happened, have proof of purchase, and they'll give you your password back.
