Equim 0 Posted June 16, 2012 Right, so a friend of mine seem to be having problems with the beta patch, from what I can understand about it is that it's not installing properly or not launching the correct way.He haven't had any problems until the latest one (93825).This is what happends. He tries to join our usual server, using sixlauncher (Which is what we've all been using) the game starts up and then he gets the message "Bad version, server rejected connection" And he's thrown back to the main menu of the game.If he goes to multiplayer his current version is 1.6.0 (No beta installed as I can gather). While on the main menu it says 93701 in the lower right corner.Things that we've tried,Deleting the "beta" folder in the expansion folder of the game and installing the beta patch again. Didn't work.Ticking and unticking the "beta" box on the sixlauncher options.Downgrading to another patch, launching, exiting and reinstalling the new one...Any advice on how to fix this? Jesus (DayZ) 0 Posted June 17, 2012 For those of you who have run the beta and it's still not display the correct version in the bottom right, do this:Go into your OA folder and open expansions, open beta. Copy the arma.exe thingo to your main OA directory and replace the original (make a backup if you want)You should now have the correct version. This worked for me.
