How to install the ArmA II: OA Beta Patch (With screenshots & a video)

Downloading & Installing the Beta Patch

1. Download the beta patch of your choice from http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php

2. Use a program such as 7zip to extract the contents of the .zip to a folder, like so.

3. Open up ARMA2_OA_Build_.exe (With being replaced by patch number). Click 'Yes' when prompted.

4. Hit 'Yes' again, after the files have been extracted (If you're okay with it of course).

Loading Arma II Beta Patch with DayZ

1. Download & Install ArmA II Game Launcher by SpiritedMachine here: http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=8241&a=dl

2. Run & set-up your ArmA II & ArmA II: OA paths for the launcher.

3. Set up your options & groups in the launcher as seen in this video:

4. Make sure 'Game Version' is ArmA II - CO, and hit start game!

When clicking yes it loads and says "Wrong CD KEY" please help

Guys it is best to get it off Steam. Once you downloaded both you just right click on Arma II: Operation Arrowhead and then click 'Properties' and then click on 'Set Launch Options' and then add this: -mod=@dayz -nosplash

Then you just download Six Launcher which is on the main website and then update it which then it will download and update the game for you. Once you have done this pick a server and you are ready to play!

(This is for Steam and the way I did it, it takes around 5 minuites).
