Trying to find out why my friend was banned

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

Newer player here and this might be posted in the incorrect area.

One of my RL friends recived a global ban from Battleeye and we cant find a reason or why he was banned? I've gone to Battleeye's website looking for information but I can't seem to find anything. There isn't any information in the ban message other than it's a global ban.

Is there a way to find out why he was banned?

He hacked or tried to download hacks/dayz related software and got his key stolen.

It's as simple as that.

That isn't true.. I know for a fact that he didnt try to hack or cheat but is it possible that you can get banned for unsavory gameplay?

Did he download any "helpful" programs that could have compromised his cd key?

Do other people have access to his computer that could have used it?

Is he maybe not as innocent as he claims to be?

Several options here. Your only way of solving this is contacting battleye about the ban.

PS: You don't get a global ban for playing like a douche, that would be an admin ban.
