I got disconnected while I was parachuting, will I survive??

Ok so I was playing on Namalsk on an American server (I am not in America so I can get lag sometimes). I found a heli and gave it to a guy because I can't fly for shit. I stayed in for a bit and then jumped out over the forest somewhere but while I was parachuting I got disconnected for a high ping (520). When I log back in will I still be parachuting or will I fall to my death?? I have a DMR but nothing really special so I don't care all that much if I do die. I don't know if this is the right topic but I am a fairly new player and this is a noobish kind of question.

Most likely, seeing as when you respawn you are in a standing position, you will either fall and break your legs or respawn in the middle of the sea and die. Most likely you will die, but thats just my guess because I don't know much.

i don't know how bad you'll be hit..but if for some reason you should spawn in the air, when you log in, you have to log out after you fell a bit, log back in, fall another couple of seconds, log out, and so. if you have a good timing, fast fingers and a bit of luck, you should log in the last time and be 1-2 meters from the ground and survive.

as far as i know. you always spawn at ground level (atleast when DC´ing in a heli)
