Arma 2 just got my purchase ( because of DayZ )

Personally, this late in the day, I would of waited for the Standalone in December. However, now you've taken the plunge you night as well enjoy. Make sure you download DayZcommander, it will make playing so much easier.

yea, lol i just couldnt hold out for the standalone, plus 35 bucs for Arma2, combined operations and OP Arrowhead and the dayz mod is not a bad price.

Edit: oh yea just got the dayz download comander and now doing all the update stuff.

and miss-out on all the other mods, other than DayZ?! Nevah! MHO, I bought into DayZ because of FRANKIEonPCin1080p I was looking at his BF3 jet-fighter tut and revie of the M240B when I saw links for this DayZ. I was (and 90% still) against zombie/dinosaur bs but something about Arma 2 mod.. Haven't looked back since, lost rank=placement for dogtags & dogtags/minute. Currently ranked in the 1000th of 800000+ PC-players for dogtags/kill % B) but I'd rather play DayZ :D

I agree. I play arma2 when I feel like experimenting or playing single player. I love the helicopters and planes and how easy it is to add things to maps of your own in the editor. :thumbsup:

Pretty much agreeing with the people above, make sure to try Arma 2 while you're not doing anything else, there's more to it than just DayZ! :)
