item storage

Recommended Posts

Hi guys n gals, must say I'm loving the game, its a game that actually makes me think while I play and every action must be thought out. love it

anyways, I was wondering if there's a way to make more room in your bags, I.e drop a gun in a certain location, and still be there when I get back. Something like storage chests you get in MMOS would be nice, if I can stay alive long enough that is.

thanks in advance

There's an item called a tent. It has over 100 slots in it (not really sure how many) and it saves the items even after server restarts, provided you use the little function called "save tent" on the context menu (the scroll-down menu). Just be careful with how much stuff you put in it because it doesn't warn when it reaches its limit, and you can lose stuff because of it.

More details here http://dayzwiki.com/wiki/index.php?title=Tent

Best regards

Are the tents stable? I´ve read somewhere that there was a chance that it had a 50% chance of disapearing when the server restarted.
