just like the title. i think when we kill a player, if we have the hunting knife should be able to to get 1 peice of meat off them.

Maybe. I think it should have some possible bad effects for mass consumption of human meat (can't remember the movie name; the effect is unrealistic anyway). I like the idea of killing people for food to survive, but currently there is enough food in occurrence that it's hard to run out. Cannibalism would just become a 'fun' thing to do.

I thought of this idea from the day I started playing, not a bad idea I say. However I think there should be a different skin for cannibals to distinguish them from the normal survivors, just to make things a bit more interesting :P

I'd have to endorse the cannibalism idea on the grounds of realism, if nothing more, but I'd really want to see a "forage" action implemented first. Forage around in the woods for a while, maybe find some grubs or berries to eat, a dead bird carcass, etc. Forage around houses (gardens) maybe find a moldy turnip or rotting pumpkin that might still have some nutritional value. Lower the loot spawns of canned goods, only really make cannibalism an option because you would starve to death without it.

I've been alive in-game for some time now and never starved. Everywhere I go there's at least 1 source where you can get food from.

i had no idea anyone replied to this.. i also forgot i ever posted this. after reading it i want to re suggest it.

also cant believe i spelled it wrong in the title.

Who here saw the movie "The Road"? i know there aren't any zombies, but the movie is about a father and son trying to survive and they come across a house. the go inside and they find a cellar full of people locked up. they escape from the cellar and as they come up they see a group of people coming toward the house. they run out the back and hide in the bushes all night hearing screams from the house of people dying because the group were cannibals and they were eating the people they locked up. it IS realistic and there are times im way up on the north boarder in game with no food and no axe to make fire that i wish i could just kill and eat someone..
