haizakokaru@yahoo.com 2 Posted November 14, 2012 I've set up 5 tents in a server, and absolutely no one has been on the server in the past 3 days. Whenever I personally try to login, I get that a black screen when you load in your character that says, "This server is running an incorrect server-side application, if you are the owner, please contact DayZ staff."My guess is that the server host sent in a ticket, and it's waiting to be answered.So are my tents basically screwed? Because I know they can disappear at random when you don't check in on them for a week or so.Advise? Anyone? How to avoid this in the future? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Wynne 9 Posted November 15, 2012 Im having the same problem with my tent server that i use for a shop on this website. My guess is your server is still a 1.7.2.6 server? I cannot join ANY 1.7.2.6 server due to this problem, but 1.7.3 servers work. I thought it was a character corruption which is can so often be, and only Day Z can fix it. You have to post your player name and ID in the announcement section of the "This server is running an incorrect server-side application, if you are the owner, please contact DayZ staff" thread. Try a 1.7.3 server first though, or lots of other servers, i dont have a fix for the problem that i have, and im not sure what happens to the tents. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I've lost a couple of tents on a number of servers for the same reason, and in some cases it's where the servers just keep disappearing or changing maps. Not every Admin gives you a warning that their servers will be shut down.For all of you who installed the 1.7.3 patch i think you cannot play 1.7.2.6 anymore.
