And all other games.I've been playing Arma 2 for aprox 1½ year now and DayZ from a very early stage.Currently I'm residing at a swedish passworded private hive server to stay away from hackers, but everyone there are douches. Bandits for the sake of killing, and just that. Shoot to shoot not to survive.And their behavior and attitude are awful hence me calling them douches.This is somewhat an introduction but also a request for a new home and new friends.I have plenty of friends in dayz but they tend to stick to bandit ways. I'm only friends with them because they had no choice being a bambi and me having a shotgun or because I saved their life.So I was wondering if anyone was interested in sharing a community or server.The current community I'm at only speaks swedish so I would prefer if it was an english speaking community.So what I'm looking for is a place that isn't run by bandits. Like the green mountain server that had an entire town up there.Or something similar.OH, if you decide you want to give me the password to your server through here, please do so over PM.It's simple logic not to share passwords publicly, but still.Or if you are a part of or run a community that isn't dead mostly whom are also friendly, I would without doubt join up.I hope you take your time and help me since I've been searching for weeks now with no result.Have a nice day and keep in touch :) Edited November 13, 2012 by Cladicus Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Allie (DayZ) 97 Posted November 13, 2012 Try GB 500, its an "open" server, no password or whitelist needed.The server is very well managed by a couple of very dedicated admins.The hackin gon this server is brought down to a minimum, but if a hacker does fck up the server the admins will roll back for a couple of minutes and all people are happy again.Bandits will always be around, they are on this server too, but still i have managed to make friends with a lot of people.I'm now hooked up with some guys i just met on this server, and the first meeting was actually a firefight :)The guys i'm running with now are not bandits but they will kill treats, for instance yesterday we came across a crashed chopper and we saw somebody already there, we took shots at him but they were more or less ment to scare the guy away and make sure he didn't have any friends watching over him. We didn't kill him and we didn't chased him, after we were ready at the chopper we actually told him he could go in for the stuff we left. Understandable he didn't dare because he didn't trust us, but we were speaking the truth, we are not there to just blindly kill everybody.I just have a lot of fun on this server.It is a busy server and at night it is almost always full. Don't want the other maps since I find they are often very altered with the dayz mod.DayZ was designed for Chernarus and the other maps are great. Just not as stable with dayz.
