One day, I'm able to log into my regular home server...no problem. next day, I cannot and get the above error. Not entirely sure why. I can connect to other servers fine, I have tested it and received no problems. I have checked server logs, from various websites...and they say that there has recently been a decent number of players on the home server. I also said that I was able to connect to the same server before. Nothing, that I am aware of, has changed. The server beta and DayZ version has remained the same. rooneye 135 Posted November 13, 2012 (edited) Yeah I got this too from one server I played on yesterday. Its purely a server thing, not anything to do with you (at least in my case). I didnt change anything on my half, but one day it said this (and there was always 0 people on when it was saying incorrect version so i assume others werent able to get on, this coupled with the fact that I didnt change any settings and the next day it was fine leads me to conclude its a server issue and nothing to do with you or your settings).Like I said this might not be the case for your problem, but thats how it was with this server (UK 172). Maybe I'll send an email off to admins.I'm looking into fixing this, as a notice to anyone else who's been a regular on my server and has become confused with this. I'll try and remember to update this thread once a fix is found, should at least have word within 24h from the hosts if all else fails.This is an odd issue to happen overnight, considering I haven't touched the server side of this one in well over a month, due to lack of need to.
