CF Donuts 25 Posted November 11, 2012 I played for a while yesterday and almost every single time I swapped public hive servers my character was reset to the PREVIOUS point that I logged in. At first I thought it was probably because the arma 2 versions that the servers were on. Eventually I decided to log off and back onto the same server and BAM, I'm reset to the point where I previously logged in with all of the same gear I had then, basically wiping out the last couple of hours of progress.Has this been happening to any other players? Michaelvoodoo25 3120 Posted November 11, 2012 I usually build up a character and log off to return the next day, same server. When I get in I am faced with a new character to start all over again! mr_chabowski@live.co.uk 2416 Posted November 12, 2012 I had this happen a couple of times.If you hit "Abort" then "Disconnect", and instead of hitting "Disconnect" again, hit "OK" to jump back into the same server. You can log out normally, and your character will be saved properly.I have no idea why it doesn't work the first time, but this sorts the problem for me. It's just a pain in the hoop.I've been on the public hive since 1.7.3 dropped (my home sever went down) and the only time this still catches me out is when I get "No Message Received" because of server restarts. I don't mind, though i will if the SA has these little bugs. Knowing a proper version of DayZ is all good, but when it makes the same little errors it is not!Aww well we will see soon! We found a chopper in Cherno, flied to Krasnostav, crashed on Klen, re-logged and got our old characters spawned in Cherno, near the hotel where the chopper used to be.
