Namalsk install

Recommended Posts

Hey all, im having problems install namalsk

Im getting the dreaded "Addon 'dayz_anim' requires addon 'CA_Dubbing_Counterattack" or somthing along the lines.

I searched for a few fixes and was unable to find one that actually works.

I currently used the Six launcher/updater

I would of liked to use the Dayzcommander but when ever i run in i get a message saying

"It doesn't appear you have arma 2 combined operations installed and/or you have not started the games manually first. Would you like to purchase Arma2 combined operations right now"?

I have Arma 2 free version ( Note on steam any more as it seems it was removed, iv had to get it from the Arma 2 site its self ) how ever i do have Amra 2 operation arrow head on steam.

Any help would be appreicated as the Namalsk map looks simply amazing :) feel like i am missing out haha.

Try copying your ArmA2/Addons folder and pasting it into your ArmA 2 Operation Arrowhead folder.

Did you install Operation Arrowhead into the ArmA 2 directory, that might resolve the DayZCommander error.

You could also try manually adding the correct directories in DayZCommander under settings if it isn't finding them automatically.

You was right with having to add the directories manualy in Dayzcommaner. That did indeed solve the error in that respect.

I also copyed the Addons folder from the ArmA2 folder in OA folder,

Once i done these, started both games up to at least the starting menu ( just to be safe ) Then ran a "repair" in the dayzcommander install/update tab as it seems to suggest, Then restarted dayzommander, it seems i am now able to load the Namalsk maps.

Thanks for your help, this should tie me over untill the stand alon comes available :)

Wish me luck!
