DayZ Standalone

If this is the wrong place to be posting this then my bad, But i was just wondering when the DayZ standalone is going to be released? Or is there no release date yet?

I'd say I'm a little curious as well.

It was said to be released around October/November, but I haven't heard much.

Then again, I've kinda slowed down on reading the forums since I haven't been playing since 1.7.2 came out.

I've been wondering whether I should do one or the other as well. I really want to play DayZ, but my dad has been wanting to save money up ^_^ So a $30 would have to come out of my pocket.

I'm thinking i'll just buy Arma 2 to play DayZ now, 30 dollars for a month or so worth of entertainment is better than 30 dollars for a 2 hr long movie haha

Dayz is still being worked on if anything. The more rocket doesn't post means the more he is working on the game. The game arma 2 is amazing in and of itself so dont worry about losing any money cause arma 2 is fun just byself if you like shooter games. Dayz just adds to the amazingness.
