Hive connection refused

I restarted it like 30 times.

It seems I can't even get the config. So I'm not even getting to the part where it tries to connect to hive mysql.

I suspect there is like a pool of servers that hosts the HiveExt.ini but I keep getting directed to one that is down.

Strange thing is that If I put the old v0.7.4 hive files back...it works ok.

thanks for the info, hive 0.7.4.1 works great. but spam messages..

how i can disable arma2oaserver.rpt logging?

the ini error you get always now. because dayz.nu is down.

first: you dont need a hiveext.ini to connect to the official hive but you can download a freshone from here (not need edit)

put in cfgdayz folder.

wait 30 seconds after the ini error and search on the hiveext.log if you have a timeout error. if yes is because you cant connect to official hive.

But I suppose it does need the official .ini in order to know the IP of the hive.

no i have the ini for that link nad have no problem. you put in the correct place?

Yes. I put it in Arma2 OA root folder \ cfgdayz

I suppose it's in the right place since it doesn't give the "file not found" error anymore.

The updated hive file worked for me, I did have to restart the server a few times before it connected to the hive though

So any update on this?

I still get the infinite "Connection refused" and I literally restarted the server hundreds of times and still no luck.

I don't know, since yesterday I've had to restart the server multiple times to get it to work. Earlier this evening it just wouldn't connect, but after waiting for an hour I finally got through.

btw in process explorer i see syn_sent to external IP 109.70.149.42:80

Yeah I have the same SYN_SENT to that IP.

Does it have some sort of access-list blocking some of us from connecting?

Earlier this evening it just wouldn't connect, but after waiting for an hour I finally got through.

You mean u left it trying to connect every second and it finally connected after an hour?

Anyway this is getting frustrating, I'm getting really dissapointed with dayz.

I either get the first error, the one about the config that most of you have, which will then turn into the mysql 10060 warning, or just plain get the 10060 warning.

I'm going to leave my server up for a few hours with the mysql error going to see if it will ever connect, but I can't get any response from support staff on this.

As for the issues getting certificate.

Problem was one bad mirror which wasnt updated. (a serverhost that hadnt notified us that their node was down)

I can confirm now it connects on first attempt.

It sure took a while to fix. I recomment you get better monitoring of the hive infrastructure.

Hello, My provider change IP On my server, setup My IP as alias, where i can setup HIve on My IP? Or How I can change IP my Server?

same problem for me. Can't connect to MySQL server 184.95.33.66. My DayZ Server IP Changed. How to fix this ?
