Hack?

I ran into an issue last night and I am curious about if it is a hack or a bug. My first inclination is that it was a hack but this game is still in a working state so I thought I would ask.

I spawned as usual and ran around doing stuff for up to like 15-20 minutes or more. I ran into a town, I don’t recall which one, and then vaulted over a fence. Next thing you know I am in an area that has no landscape kind of like a desert but not. I am on the ground and there are several other people on the ground as well. Also there are like 4 or 5 other people standing. All I know is I get wounded somehow and start shooting then I am dead.

Is this a typical hack situation or a bug that possibly ported us to a null zone? Thanks for any input.

Hacker probably teleported you and others outside the map (debug plains)
