People just got nuked in Vietnam(server VN1)!!

lol~~ I don't understand what just happened...

well, at first, i got into the server (VN1- a server in vietnam) and i found my killing status was reset.

and then I was killed by a lot of zombies in Berezino and I respawn minutes later.

I heard gun shot in Elektro and i climb up a ladder...

then I got nuked...

the next time I join the server, everything was reset to the status before the nuke~~

maybe it's just a joke from the server owner...or is it?

after the nuke I rejoin that server, and I'm back where I was before the nuke. everything was reset

I asked in side channel if anyone saw the nuke just like me. and the answer is "yes"

I just had the same thing happen to me in an Australian server. I didn't remember the server name as today is essentially the first time I've properly sat down to play DayZ for myself (instead of on a friend's account or at an internet cafe or whatnot).

I snuck around for a while, got myself a compass, bandages, flashlight and a Lee Enfield, then suddenly everything just stopped for a moment, my character cried out in pain, an explosion sounded and the small town I was in was flattened. The "You have died" screen came up, and then I lost connection.

Upon reconnecting to another server, I appeared in the doorway of the outhouse I found the Lee Enfield in.

Odd.

"The Day the Sun Rose in the South" is what we'll call this first reported Nuclear Event of Day Z. Sucks to have died, but would have been cool to see. :)
