Incorrect Version?

As you can see from screenshots my version is 1.7.3 but it still gives me the error. Whats going on here?

I have the exact same problem as you do. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing dayz through play withSIX but that didn't help. Before finding this I also made a thread on their offical help pages ( http://getsatisfacti..._withsix_update )

I've never really had an issue with using DayZ Commander, so imo it is the better choice.

The only trouble I did seem to have, was trouble with connecting due to having Arma II:CO installed via Steam. I would get incorrect versions and other errors connecting but it was solved by ticking both boxes in the Steam Settings of DayZ Commander.

DayZ Commander also makes it easy to rollback Arma II as well as DayZ versions to play on servers who aren't up to date. Hope this helps.

first time ive ever had a map update fail to work..

im sure it'll get sorted quickly.
