So.. Have All The Clans/Groups Hid All The Cars Away On Every Server

Because.. Batman, I haven't seen shit. I've checked damn near every vehicle spawn point on Dallas 42, and 48. I've checked countless spawns on NY servers as well. I'm beginning to think that it might just be a better idea to start just going around the outskirts of the map where textures are sloppy looking for group/clan camps.

Do vehicles stay in the server when one logs out? Or do they only appear when you log in but are tired to the server? I've found a tractor before and found gas, but was in a group and didn't want to leave anyone behind in my tractor dust.b

So what are some of the best spots to find vehicles, preferably one with 4 doors but whatever. Even a damn bicycle would make my day. Any screen shots? Also, can some servers actually disable vehicles from spawning?

Found a bunch today, just unlucky is all, not all the vehicle spawns are logged down.

The map that shows the spawns is out-dated and doesn't represent a lot of the spawns correctly.

10+ cars? How does a clan hide that many vehicles? My Group, We struggle with 3 - 4. I guess the only place to hide that sort of convoy is off the map.

Have seen a few cars but nothing unoccupied in about 3 weeks of play on dozens of servers and covering every inch of the map. I had a chance to steal a car at a gas station when a car rolled up with 2 guys for a refill mission, but blew it. It seems to me the organized groups/clans/server owners have all the cars off-map and the rest of us are out of luck to find a "new spawn". I've also heard there are only about 50 servers with vehicles and the devs aren't adding any new servers atm. So my suggestion if you want a car: Play on older servers (lower numbers), camp gas spots near the borders, and explore off-map.

In the last week alone I've gotten my hands on and kept/had stolen/ or destroyed a S1203 Van, GAZ, 3 Motorcycles, V3S, a Ural, and god knows how many bicycles we've found while traveling. This has only been across 2 servers since we try not to server hop a lot, specifically when we have vehicles. It is just luck. this was a mix of fresh spawns and randomly running into hidden vehicles.

Only thing ive seen is a UAZ filled with 3 russians who tried to snipe me with DMR's from a silly 1000meters but after hearing the boom sound of my British anti material 50cal weapon they proceeded to retreat in cowardly manner & drove off. They wouldn't return even after i offered my position on a platter.

i hide my vehicles in trees, i have a hilux, lr, ural and two tt650's. Still waiting for a chopper ot spawn though.

I'm not 100% on this, but I think cars and tents placed outside the map get deleted upon server restart?

It's a struggle, and as we lose cars we learn what works and what doesn't. We have things all over the map. We actually USE our vehicles, though. Not just keep them to say we have them.

Don't think this is the case.

We had a chopper on one server and kept it outside the map boundaries. Server restarted several times, but the chopper kept respawning where it was saved there.

We did eventually lose it, because the server "mysteriously" crashed while we were using the chopper in a raid. Pilot was respawned back where we been storing the huey, but no sign of the vehicle itself...

Saw a car driving north towards Cherno, found a bike that I couldn't manage to move in the grass, found a tractor with a blown engine and no gas. That's about it though.
