What is this all about?:

We would like to post this on the forum for those who enjoyed our previous server, which is now moved to a new location (therefore inaccessible). We also welcome all new comers to visit us at our new server. Our server runs Mercenary settings and the Chernarus map (more info below).

Settings:

• No third person
  
• No crosshairs
  
• No waypoint/map markers
  
• No death messages (Namalsk mod map, however, has its own)
  
• No modded starting gear
  
• No enhanced vehicles or loot spawns
  
• No promises of world peace or everyone being friendlies
  

Map:

Our server is currently running the Chernarus map. The maps are voted on every 1-2 weeks to give opportunity for the majority to select a new environment if the one we are running grows stale- or to continue to vote for the same map if it is enjoyable. This is all done via our forums on our website, which enhances the aspect of community on our server. This is not required to play on our server, but those who seek a community, will find it here! ( visit us here ).

Q: Do you allow bandits?

A: Yes, of course... this is Day Z. We encourage everyone to play how they wish to play.

Q: Are there friendlies?

A: Yes, there are plenty of those who are willing to team up with you.

Q: Do you have sidechat enabled?

A: Yes, at this time it is enabled. We do NOT allow VOICE in sidechat, however. We feel this gives options to our players. By options, we mean the ability to declare friendly and seek out other potential friendlies. We understand not everyone loves sidechat, but at this time we are letting it roll with the reserved right of removing it if it becomes an issue in the future. We expect everyone to use it maturely and responsibly and we do kick/ban offenders of sidechat abuse. If you declare your location in side chat and end up being shot by a bandit who read your global proclamation, we do not want to hear the whining. We view sidechat as being the ingame equivalent to a public radio channel which anyone can scan, bandits and survivors alike... use your brain and think before you speak. We hope one day Day Z will implement ingame radios as tool items that enable such channels to be used by only those with radios. Until then, this will do.

Q: What are ban-able offenses? Server rules?

A: This is pretty straight forward... Play the game the way it was meant to be played and you will be fine. No duping, exploiting, or hacking of any kind is tolerated. The server and our logs are monitored daily and we will gladly add offenders to the list of bans when necessary. We do have a forum where our players can submit ban appeals or ban requests, as well.

You can and will be kicked for sidechat abuse (using voice or spamming sidechat) with the potential to be banned.

We have built up some regular visitors since launch and we are still looking for more players out there that appreciate a good mercenary server! Thank you to all of you who have come by and checked us out (whether you stay or not!) We are still fresh and new and there's plenty of real estate for all!
