Addon Problem

Hi guys,

Today i Buy ArmA 2 combined operations and install DayZ.

But when i go to the game i get this error:

''addon dayz_anim requires addon ca dubbing counterattack''

and then

''no entry bin/config.bin/cfgvehicles/citizen1.scope''

I dont know what i should do.

I watch lots of tutorials how to install dayZ, but it doesnt work for me

Can you guys help me please?

Thats the wrong folder. Thats just Arma 2 folder you need to put it in Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead for it to work as DayZ needs that expansion to work.

Also did you buy game through steam? Because I did and on my PC my ArmA 2 & Arma" operation arrowhead are in my programfiles(x86)/steam/steamapps/common.

i would also advise you to get dayz commander for sure. This will make things MUCH easier for you to install and also to join servers etc.

How are you launching the game? I would suggest, first just using dayz commander to launch/install yah updates/mods. Its very easy to use. Pretty much self explanatory. If its still giving errors, its probably not launch parameters. Is it a steam version, or did you buy disks from a shop?

(@ rooneye, it says arma 2 folder... but it has the OA .exe in there? Not the arma2 one? strange.)

No i dont buy it from Steam. I Buyed from a Online Download Shop

But I pressed ''install arma 2 combined operations'' and it instaled by itself

Ahhh yeah I didnt notice that aye. Hmmm I have no idea then, i can only suggest trying dayz commander as it is automatic so will chose the right folder etc.

And when I go in Arma2 OA I can also play the Arma2 missions

You could also try putting the @DayZ folder in the ArmA 2 folder that is inside My Documents.

Also how are you starting the game? Are you just double clicking the short cut with out setting it up to actually load @DayZ? You cant just put the @DayZ folder in teh arma 2 folder then just double click the arma 2 short cut. You need to go into the parameters and set it to load @DayZ
